Horse Pension
Retired or young, the Ferme Brasseyrou welcomes horses of all ages and of all backgrounds. You don’t want to haul down your horse yourself – no problem – we can take care of that.
Small Herd
The horses live in a small horse community, mixed in age and sex. They enjoy the social interactions in their own species. They don’t get bored nor spoiled, young horses learn respect and manners in a natural the way and mature horses find a new life task.
Shelter 24/7
For shelter the horses can enjoy the shade of the tree hedges bordering the Ferme’s green meadows as well as a spacious hangar to escape the rain, heat and insects.
Individual and personal care
We provide the horses with all the care they need, from supervising overall health to hoof trimming and to special diets to address particular health issues.
Basic training for young horses
For younger horses we offer a soft and individually assembled start into their handled and ridden life, in a joyful environment and respecting the true nature of biomechanically correct movements and respectful behavior.
The respect of the horse is in the center of our approach. We believe in providing our residents with the chance to live as horses and practice an easy to understand and natural approach to everyday handling and to health care.

My philosophy
Hi! I am Daniela and responsible for the well-being of our equine residents. I would be very happy to take care of your horse as well, whether if it is during his last or first period of his actual life. It is my passion to never stop learning in order to keep my equine partners comfortable and healthy – creating for them an environment as natural as possible, providing them with a nutrition corresponding to their natural needs. In exercising (on the ground or in the saddle) helping them by not interfering with but supporting their natural balance and make it rather a game instead of a military session. I try my best to apply a good and fair leadership role, to exercise the active horses in a fun and biomechanically correct way and to get in harmony and have safety with the horses on the ground and in the saddle.
Luckily there have been and there are many great horseman to learn from and not to forget the horse! He could be our best teacher if we try to listen to him. Creating a true home for the horses in our human world is the least we can to do to pay them the respect they deserve, serving their needs given by nature. That means learning the language of the horse, understanding his needs as a flight and herd animal, and never stop learning and self improvement.
